Name
Soleil
Age
6 years
Height
15.6 hh
Breed
Arabian
Lineage
Descended from Saxon (? - I think that's right, but I'm not entirely sure)
Markings
3 white pasturns, and small white star upon his forehead. Leopard markings within the black, barely traceable, but they are there.
Characteristics
Dark Bay, deep blood red hue, with ebony legs, pure and black from the knees down. Strong muscled body tone. Thick powerful haunches. Slender limbs, but not a feeble set. Kind, cunning eyes, with a lenient face. Deep reserved shoulders and a broad chest, slender girth with straight backbone. GRaceful composition and a strong set structure.
Temperment
Calm, collected, with an inner cunning that is not easily flustered and angered. He has a deep beautiful eye that catches all. His nares powerful in sorting through chaos and familiarity. His mind is quick and his reactions are swift. When angered he is sharp and shows his anger through his actions, uninterested in fighting with meaningless words. He understands that speaking when fighting, takes up breath, and draws attention away from the coolness of clear thinking. He is smart and intelligent, and slow to anger.
History
Rejected by his dam upon birth, he was adopted, by an older mare who had a very maturanal instinct and love. No longer, of his home herd, he wandered with his foster dam in the small herd of six. The older stallion, the lead of this small herd - dispised little Soleil, and shunned him once he became a yearling. Passing from the herd of six, Soleil travelled alone and a wondering young stallion. Learning from his own trial and error, he sports scars and old marks from where his mistakes taught him the ways of his preditors, and their habits. From these experiences with the carnivores, he learned to fight and protect himself. Learning and teaching himself the various ways to gain and advantage and escape or flee into safety. From hard life alone, his elegant arabic bodice, grew toned and muscular from grueling years of travelling and fighting for survival. Being a lone horse has its dangers and he was constantly searching for a herd to join. However, as a stallion he had a natural aggression towards other stallions, and thus this made it difficult for him to migrate into another herd. He had a leader's blood in his veins, and thus was slightly unhappy with the thought of having to subject himself tot he wills of another. He was no brown noser, and thus continues as a wandering. No longer searching for a herd to mingle with he began looking for strays and loners such as himself...
