The rules are here for a purpose; to keep the game running in a nice, orderly fashion. Please follow by the rules given! New rules are written in red.
If a rule is in question, please feel free to message me. If a rule is not listed, than you may go about the situation however you like.
1. Keep the game clean. Keep the cursing to a minimum.
2. If you choose to make several characters, keep them all active! You may use one account for all characters-but make it clear which one is being used.
3. Signatures may include information about your character, but keep it neat and tidy.
4. Personalized pictures of your character should go in your signature, not set as an avatar.
5. Please, no fences, halters, or anything that promotes contained horse-life in your pictures!
6. Leads of the herds should pay close attention to their herd's statistics (lead, beta etc.) and message them to your Global-Moderator.
1. You may join as a descendant of Toric. Toric's bloodlines are of the arabian breed, having traveled from the deserts and saharas of Aspen Ridge. If you choose to join as an heir, you are unquestionably an arabian.
2. Stallions may only audition for Lord Toric's descendents. Mares can be arabians, however, they are not of Toric's blood (this would cause inbreeding and such).
3. You may certainly join as "just anyone"! You do not have to be related to Toric to do well in the game. The descendants of Toric rule the lands, however, they're positions can be take away through battle.
4. You decide what herd to join if you are of Toric's blood. If not, you will be claimed.
1. Only stallions may claim lands.
2. As an acception to rule number one, the offspring mares of Toric may already be living in a terra. These mares may be stolen, as well as the terra they are resigning in.
3. Because the three herds are still at war, all sub-boards can be fought for. If the opposing herd wins, I will award them the sub-board which was fought for.
1. Only stallions may claim horses.
2. Mares can be stolen from other herds, so stallions, keep a watchful eye!
3. If two stallions come while claiming a horse, fight over it. Whoever wins wins the horse in question.
4. All mares must be claimed from Claimance Hill. You may not just show up.
1. Force-breeding is allowed.
2. A foal should come out of every breeding (no pleasure breeding).
3. Breeding only occurs in the Spring season.
4. As an acception to rules two and three, stallions may mount mares to prove claimance in any season.
1. All lead stallions must be auditioned for in the Auditory Tryouts board.
2. Follow the instrucions on that specific thread.
3. Sample posts are started with what the staff member has posted that you post about. This is leniant, but follow the guidelines they give.
4. Auditions are not popularity contests! The position will be given to the player that portrays the character best (going by their sample post.
5. If you are given the position, and at a later point another stallion comes to fight over your position, and he wins, there is nothing you can do about it. It doesn't matter if you won the auditions, that other stallion will take your place.
