Soft white foam encased his legs as the cool waters enveloped his hocks and the lower extremities of his legs. Tempted to wander further into the pleasant waters he refrained himself and looked past his shoulder, towards the crest of sand he had dissapeared over. His eyes searching for two mare's; Apology, and another he knew not the name of.
Equally both were of his harem, yet one was more than just a mere form of life. Apology was respected and adorned, favored greatly by the large Soleil. It was not that he disliked the other, for if that was the case he would not have beckoned her to follow him. It was merely she had not quite proven herself worhty of his respect. It would come with time... he only knew the other for a mere few minutes. It was understandable. Thus his shrill whistle struck the air witha carrying force. The tune lifted upwards upon the wind, so that both femma's would be able to locate him. He knew he could never leave one out of his sight, from henceforce. If he were to do so... he knew chances were high he would lose whichever one chose to stray from his protective circle. Thus he danced with slight agitation as he waited for Apology and the other mare. He would ahve to get her name... he'd fogotten in his haste, to ask her before he beckoend her to follow.
As both mares were under his care, he respected each one a little more than before... Apology was different for many reasons. She'd gathered his respect and favor before they had ever departed. Soleil, favored her greatly. The moonlight was high over the water and it left a shimmering reflection upon the waving surface. The dark night sky brightened by teh moon's fervent rays. Ahhh... the beauty of his home land.
He whistled once more and lef teh foaming water's edge to return tot he crest, coming up to look out - hoping to see his mares but a few mere feet away. He'd be worried if they did not appear, soon. ooc: its prolly crap, but I ddin't know what else to say lol

A return call and the sound of soft footfalls signaled the ivory doves approach, all senses harmonizing so as to follow the call, which she'd identified as Soleils, and find his location. Visionaries searched from under a veil of forelock for the lead of these lands, kissers setting free a call instinctively as he came into view. Picking up the pace slightly so her pistons moved her across the loam in a two beat, not brisk yet not slow. she dipped her tiara some, now that Soleil had been found her gaze drifted lazily about the land and she smiled, approving of what she saw, as she'd predicted, a great stallion for great lands. Her pace slowed again as she neared the brute, pleased she'd found him. It was never a good thing for a lone mare to wander, even if she was perfectly capable of handling herself, and of course, in the lands of her claimer.
The silver maidens hide shone some, though ever glistening scars were visible towards her rear, the only remains of past.. disagreements. Zenith lifted as the gap between her and Soleil narrowed, by the look on his face and his stance seemed he was waiting and worrying, most likely for her and, perhaps others? She shook her poll, she would most likely find out in the coming minutes.
Coming to stand near the great bays side she viewed the lands more leisurely, the ever growing smile displaying her pleasure at what she saw. Tearing away her gaze it drifted again to Soleil, she nickered quietly and allowed her harks to raise from their graves so as to catch any sound coming her way, be it from the stallion beside her or any other form of life.
Relaxed as she might appear Apologys guard was never let down, a good thing for the most part. Warm breath hit the air before her as expanded nares both took in scents and freed them, whipcord flicking lazily for no particular reason other than the femmes amusement. Whether it was her mind or her titaniums some part of Apology was always being put to use, as pointless as the action may appear it was never so, everything had a point. Sometimes it was just hidden beneath a blacked out window, that had been what Apology had seen herself as a long time ago. So much happened beneath the surface that others had never had access to, but alas, that had all changed. And, she was glad it was so. With these thoughts all buzzing within her, and the warm presence of Soleil beside her she waited alongside him, ready for anything he might do or say, or the coming of another, for it seemed his calls were not for her alone..

Soleil was releived slightly upon the appearance of Apology, the silver hued mare, that he favored so greatly. His great head reached out, and his muzzled pressed against her for but a moment, in releif and happiness at seeing her here. There was one less beauty to worry about. He now had her where he could see her, he knew she was safe. He nuzzled her gently and nickered with forlorn that seeped from his call until it was nomore. Relief seemed to brighten his eyes and his ears perked forward intently. His stance relaxing, his shoulders dropping back into a more restful manner. His great neck declining its arch so as to releive the strain from bearing it so proudly with worry. Odd how he should be overwhelmed with a form of pride as he waited in worry for the site of his mares. His mind wandering away with him as he imagined Aros or Azur coming near with a mare Soleil had claimed; only to flaunt that she ahd been stolen from him.
However the realization that atleast if that should aheppen, teh stoel mare would not be Apaology; thatw as enough to relax him slightly. Through his responsibilites did not allow him to relax completely and forget about the mare he had claimed in the falling of night. He was not so restless in this land he knew. In this land that other knew was his. The night was his favorite time of the hour. For preditors made it there habit to attack at night, as did stray veckors like Azur and Aros. Soleil was not going to put it past them to try and pull something as sneaky as a nightly venture. Soleil, himself would do it, if he found reason to. However he did not, and as such he was content now, upon the moonlight beach, where each grain of sand shimmered with a breath of light.
Upon feeling the warmth of Apology and acknowledging her he turned a worried eye back tot eh crest... waiting tensely for the other. He was growing agitated, perhaps that she was not yet here, but the night was young... perhaps she was just being slow. It worried him greatly. But Apology gave him great comfort and made his muscles relax as each breath she took, each sound of her shifting weight reminded him that she was already here, that she would not be going anywhere. That she was not dissapeared into the night. It made him less worried, yes. But he could not let himself forget about the other mare who had yet to arrive. If he did so... it would belittle the stallion he was... he would not be fit to govern...

Muzzle reached out to brush the stag in return, a rough nuzzle. Occuli still gallivanted about the place, every new thing she spotted adding to her liking of the place. Taking a few prancy steps forwards she allowed the cool liquids to lap about her hocks enjoying the sense of cool and relief it brought. Lifting her tiara to the blanket shrouding the earth, embracing it in a dark, yet alluring veil she tossed her dial a feeling of happiness overcoming her which she was all too happy to embrace. Retreating from the dark liquids the soft sand was once more beneath her hooves which sunk slightly with each dainty step. These steps had fooled so many into thinking her weak, strange how looks can mislead without the intent even being so..
Taking in the crisp air she allowed a quiet melody past her kissers, loud enough to be heard but quiet through reluctance to spoil the calm atmosphere. Sure, Soleil was obviously still waiting for something..someone, but his mood seemed to have lightened with her coming, another pleasant thought,
Your lands are indeed pleasing to both the eye and body Soleil
her comment was typical of her, whatever she thought she said, no complicated hidden messages just the plain truth, another quality that made some wary. By body she meant the feel beneath the hoof and the air which occupied the space about them, she guessed the night added to the sense of beauty and calm. Quite the opposite to what most would expect, wasn't night supposed to be a time of danger, when all manner of creatures were about? Relaxing her trunk fell as a light sigh was set free, sounding dainty and fragile as did everything else about Apology. She smiled distantly and returned once more to the waters, she found its cool, soft and gentle touch hard to resist.

When the other mare did not appear within the many futile minutes soleil had stood here he gave up on waiting, and let loose a most mournful call. Its pitch heightened to start so as to carry across to the wandering ears of the mare who ahd failed to return, should she eventually catch wind of the note and decided to come back to him. The note however died slowly away, fading and h elt his mind wander fromt he potectiveness it refused to quell. If the other mare was to come, she would come - if she did not, it merely meant she had fallen, been stolen, or betrayed the oh so generous Soleil for another, quite foolish she was if she had chosen to run from the generosity soleil offered.
thus he turned away fromt eh crest and joined Apology upon the breach of the waters. Lipping the side of her neck gently he spoke sweetly to her. He had no other mare's to pay attention to and he was most intrigued by her, his favor for her was great, but he had none other to focus upon. It was but her for tonight. He'd need worry for only one.
|| Rest now. Mine eyes shall govern over the habits of the night so as yours may rest to awake again for a another day ||
His vocals brushed the air. He become almost addicted to speech by the luring sound needed to captivate the silver hued mare. She was beauty enough. He need not perfection of body. It was perfection of mind that appealed to him, and thus she appealed to him.
Her compliment gave him great pride, and he scented the wind, gathering her scent and analysing it for future reference. The libido within him searching for another trace, but finding it not. It was spring was it not... instinct lay deep within his structure, though he did not consciously realize his analysis fully.
His eyes wandered out over the water and saw nothing but endless blue. Though a younger of him at one point would have been without content with the unknown pst the blue, and yearn to strive out to search for the land beyoj dhte saphire horizon. His elder was wiser and knew that whatever was beyond, was beyond reach and therefore not worth contemplating.
Sighing deeply he looked up to the crest, finding them empty and satisfying he looked along the beachline, again seeing its vast space empty of others. The sand lay smooth from where high tide had wiped it clean of all prints. Like a new slate it glimmered silver beneath the moonlight as the thousand small grains reflected with false life. The beauty and silence of this realm was overwhelming and a fire in him suddenly heighten as he thought of either Aros or Azur attempt to steal the ground about him, or the beloved near him. Was something generous soleil would not allow. For even though there was a side of him that new kindness and new how to accept and give respect. There was teh instinct within him that would never die...
-Fight for life, die for pride-

She nodded in understanding, it had indeed been a long day and not any amount of happiness, no matter how great could soothe the ache which came from being tired of body, and so it was with the mind awake and the body wishing rest she allowed herself to settle where she was, the grains of sand soft beneath her. She did not speak for there was not the need, instead she allowed her mind to drift into a peaceful state somewhere between sleep and wake, her body already beginning to restore its energies which had been lost without realizing. Paper thins quivered as the vix let loose a breath, occuli glancing once at Soleil, taking comfort from him being in close proximity, she hadn't been able to rest at ease since...she smiled, since she was a filly.
Lids began to fall over pools which matched the hue of the sky above, to raise again not at the mares choosing but when her energy had been replenished. The air around her carried her easily into rest where she felt secure, knowing she had an ebony bay guardian beside her..

A solitary ebon mass stood upon the sands of his realm. His coat seeming black within the moonlight, holding no placed for childish kindness. The night was his realm, his domain. He was never off guard and as such he kept a watchful eye. His muscles relaxed as of now as his nares constantly dragged in the scents around him. He tasted the sea upon the breeze and the dust from the dry grains of the prairie. He scented the lone coyote in the distance and focused on it, ears alert, head low; created the binocular vision point that occured when the vision of both eyes overlap in the front, as it was for all equines. He scanned the crests of sand and where the beachline ended. The smell of the lone hunter was his focus point. All senses strained upon it, however it proved no threat and soon the scent was lost with distance. He snorted regaining his statue like reverance over the night. Casting his eyes down to the silver fea whom he'd come to claim. The only mare out of two that had succeeded in arriving. It upse him to a degree. If the other mare had no reason to be so late, then it was unnacceptable to torment him with worry. Yet he didn't ponder the fact long, in truth he partly given up on her, assuming she'd been either lost to the winds, to a stallion, or possible even hurt or death. It was all a big scheme of things. Anything was possible, and one could not always expect a true and happy ending. Was like living in a fairy tale, and to Soleil fairytales were uninteresting when the ending was always the same. So unlike the true world, so it was yet to be determined by others, but Soleil was locked firmly in reality. He didn't dream and didn't fantasize about what could be. He only knew what was, what was possible, and what had happened before. It was a rationality that kept Soleil alive; and those within his herd of that matter. He was glad to see that Apology was resting, the night was young and rest was a needed thing when there was possible travels to be made in the morning and day.
Soleil shook himself, discarding old thoughts to as to make room for new ones. He had to keep himself amused, was anything else expected of him here within the shadow blanket of night? If their be no disturbance for him to be rid of, there is no need for his mind to be empty so that he may swim in the abyss of emptyness and drift into a bored state that would leave him tired and at unrest. He smiled to himself, listening to his own thoughts playing in his head. How random they were in truth, yet it did not bother him in the least. Let his mind wander, there was no harm in it. His ears were trained about hinting and recognizing each familiar sound. Each breath Apology took was noted, each wave that struck the sand was heard. The grasses blowing against their stalks and roots screamed to him form the distance and the ever power of the sea broad wind whistled through the timberline. Ahhh, yet there was a silent roar to the nature that screamed to him. The silence deafening to someone who couldn't learn how to listen. They heard not the grasses, the breath's of another, nor the waves against the sea; yet when they did, they often thought it noise. How wrong such souls were, to not listen carefully to each song and harmony when it beckons to a fellow life of nature. Soleil had some of natures greatest elements as his only company when he was but a wandering soul in search of an unknown fate. Life was a precious gift and many misused the life they had. Thus nature's deepest secrets were the ones that went unnoticed, except to those that would listen.
~~~~~~~
The morning came so quickly, and with a toss of his head he approached the ocean waters. The water was a salty mixture unfit for drinking, but he dipped his muzzle in anyways and cooled his face and hocks. Sand lined his legs from where it had been sprung up to cling to damp fur. Yet he looked none the less, and still had a powerful radiance that demanded respect from all that should see. The only one as of now who had not to fear, Soleil was Apology... and he was assured she already knew this.
Turning back he walked nearer to her form and continued to stand watch even as the sun hieghtened over the horizon. It bother Soleil not to wait - atleast as of now. If it got too late he would possible wake her, but he'd let her awake upon her own doing, twas only fair. He'd be restful during the day, twas not as dangerous in daylight hours, but she would always have the grace of resting when the sun fell and rising when it rose. Thus she was always able to bask with energy in the morning rays and glorify the sun with her radiance. Thus he stood banner calm behind him and sight and ears still trained on watching for danger. He allowed himself to wander from her for a short distance to root through the sands to pull at dry shoots that lay beneath, but he never wandered far. His now apparent dark bay bodice always close, within distance to reach her should danger arise.
With the coming of the morning the fae continued her rest which, as it turned out, had been much needed. Waking to the sound of water and footfalls of another her breath quickened, slightly panicked until her mind began to function properly, assuring her all was well and the only other was Soleil, she was safe while he was there.
Visionaries were freed of their curtains giving the maiden sight of the morning and pillars straightened, supporting the femmes slender frame once again. Taking a few uncertain steps forwards she caught sight of the stag and sighed, glad for the rest he had allowed her to take. Shaking her form to rid herself of unwanted sand and the like she began making her way t'wards the waters. Whipcord remained clamped down, only moving slightly as the femme broke into a smooth trot it remained so through habit, something she did automatically at such a time in the year.
Dipping her poll as if testing the muscles still worked in her serpentine she felt a certain energy and relief in which she had long been lacking. Raising her visage to study Soleil she tilted her cranium slightly, as if viewing him at another angle improved her vision,
The rest was much needed, thank you.
A minor thing, to thank someone for keeping an eye over you while you slept but of great importance to the ivory ess, call her odd, call her polite, either way. Pools drifted across the water, watching its movements with interest, when viewing such things large amounts of questions formed in her mind, each drawing her further into the rising and falling of the blue liquid, so much so she found her breathing was beginning to match its rhythm. Shaking herself free from her daze she turned her attention instead to the lands about her, how different things looked when morning lit them... As her occuli danced over the place, memorizing as they went, harks flicked towards Soleil, she was aware he had kept watch over her through the night, what had he done with that time? She wondered before considering what she would do, no doubt her mind would create something to occupy her attention.
After standing in the cool liquid for a number of minutes Apology retreated from it again, returning to the czar though not coming so close as to become a nuisance, ever hovering around him, if he wished her company she would give it willingly. She greatly appreciated the way the stallion thought and that the things he valued were apart from those of other stallions, these things, in her eyes, made him all the more unique and worthy of respect, therefore she would not hassle him. She snorted, if all thought that way how different the world would be, instead each was caught up in their own unique ways, many blind to what stared them in the face. Apology knew she had no right to criticize the way others thought, each to their own and all but there were some things she believed too strongly in not to feel some emotion at them, ignorance being one of the few. Aware of her mind straying again she closed her eyes momentarily and allowed herself one final thought before hauling herself back, the world would not be as it is if it weren't for opinions, they make us individual. She nodded once as if finalizing that her attention, for the present, would remain on the present and resumed her former watching of Soleil and the lands, flutes automatically remaining alert for a sound from Soleil though the faes attention drifted freely..
Hearing her wake and her words, Soleil turned to view her, looking at her strangly for the odd way she held her banner so close. The tedons in the arabian tail were not ment for such clampage and he was curious, though not forward - he could make an assumption as to why and the thought made him smile to himself. As playful as he could be, and though his libido demanded that he check her scent again he made no notion of it. He had no intent to cover any of his mare's this spring, would be too soon he supposed. The will to live and bring heirs was not so strong witihin him as of now, perhaps later when the alluring scent of the femmes became overpowering would he consider. He was a stlalion nonetheless and he had his hormones, though they did not power his emotions and actions as they do some.
He snorted tossing away the thought like yesterday's news, not that it wasn't of interest to him, for it certainly was. But he didn't want to bother his mind with it, if he had no intention of breeding this year; though tempted. He whistled shrilly to her and tossed his head once to gather her attention. His sleek bay hide shimmering dully int he sun. Grains of sand making it sparkle like glitter in areas along his back and neck. His long mane was tangled towards the ends, and his forlock hung heavily in his eyes. His tail flickered from side to side, arched as always, like ablack flag it wavered then stilled with his passing emotions. His ears finely pointed in her direction as her movement perked his attention. He didn't know as of now what to expect from her. Introductions had been made... she'd spent a settled night here. He wasn't sure if she was yet comfortable, but assumed she would like to visit the other regions. The beach alone was not enough to satisfy ones interest for long. He himself from feeling dreary from the long night, and only now had even allowed his mind to ponder becoming tired. However, he didn't want to lay in the sand during the sunny hours. The small grains became too hot and made him uncomfortable; though the bedding soft. He prefered the shade of the trees, but he'd rest later. He never really slept, more like dozed; standing... with eyes closed, mind lulled into a gentle grace of rest, but easily snapped back to reality at the slightest change in the familiarity.
For a moment he stood looking at her, merely observing the way she moved, memorizing every feature - every twist of her slender frame. For reference of course. He would never allow her to be stolen from him. She was his favorite. Though she was the only one within their pair. They were hardly a herd - was sad how the other had not appeared. But Soleil would cease contemplating it... and gently let loose a nicker when she neared him. Closing the gap, he nipped at her in a friendly, playful manner, but did not sprint off as if to inject play. He was merely... what was he doing? He snorted and shook his head, looking towards the rise where the beach ended and then back to her. The plains above the crest were still a part of the beach, but was layered with grass and sparing trees instead of sand and rough sea plants. He then looked back to her, not really demanding anything... she was free to go about as she wished. He merely allowed her to know, he was wandering in that direction.
And with that portrayed through his motions he whickered softly to her, asuring her he'd be always near and then headed up the enbankment, following the curve of the crest up tot he grasses above. Looking back but once before choosing a comfortable spot. His bay hide was slowly cleaning itself as it dried; the grains of sand loosening and falling from his fores and hinds. His rear piston cocked in a comfortable manner as he seemed to lean at a comfortable angle upon the weight set with even accuracy. He allowed his nares to expand to gather a deep breath, and then release. His man being played with byt he wind as his ears settled back into a comfortable position, trained both on what was ahead, to the side and behind. Though he already knew what was behind him; dear apology.
ooc--> odd post, doesn't really have that much point. Muse gone walking..
Nodding slightly she watched him disappear over the embankment, she noted his whicker with a soft smile and flicked her whipcord lazily, realising the way she was holding it, strange how some things happen automatically. Watching Soleil until she could no longer see him she lowered her muzzle to the sands, curious about the many grains and how they clung to her pelt so, she knew sand but had never had the opportunity to spend time on it. Raising her apex to its former postion she instead used her pillars, trotting to the water edge and returning at a steady canter aware of the sand her titaniums shifted and the marks they left.
She smiled, new places were always entertaining at first, but, like anything else, when the novelty wore off you could never gain back that feeling of surprise and hapiness. Following the sand down she glanced in the direction that Soleil had gone, figuring she'd left him plenty of time she wandered around the area before deciding to go that way too, the beach had failed to keep her interested. Looking not for the stallions form she moved on, a steady walk as she had no need for haste. Carrying on her flints began to reveal stalks beneath them, slightly dry and crisp but there. Snatching a few she continued her journey, catching a dark shape a little way back but not heading directly for it, she wished to wander for the moment, wraped up in her own thoughts which were few and complex.
Though she walked what seemed like a fair distance she'd imprinted in her mind where the stag lay, and never strayed too far, she was new to the lands and, talented as she may be with memory she didn't much care for the idea of being alone and isolated, even within Soleils lands. Her pace altered every so often from walk to trot and occasionally canter though she never rushed. It felt as though she'd been alone for ages even as her mind chose to kick in, telling her it was impossible. Time was indeed a strange thing when thought about carefully, it could not be stopped nor quickened, it was as it was and nothing could alter it. Days passed, seasons changed yet time remained constant, never wavering. She sighed heavily and chose to stop a while, from where she stood Soleil was visible, and if he was looking so was she. Looking below her she was pleased to find that the grasses were now plentiful. Snatching at some she ate, though she wasn't great in hunger, it gave her something to do.
He considered leaving, and yet he couldn't not with her alone. His only ponderings were due to the event that he had grown fond of the forest foliage. The tropical region that bordered his reign was fair enough, but it was too lush and humid, with large planets that did not hold the mysterious beauty as much as they beheld the lively tropical taste. He snorted and lifted his gaze, the moments flying by until his vestige was rested and his heart livened its beat. He had dozed from the morning hours to the sunlit afternoon and the heat of the blazing sphere within the sky warmed his bay black coat until it became no longer comforting but more an an annoyance. Opened his gaze he looked towards Apology sighting her a fair distance away, he sighed and made his way back down to the shores. His hooves sinking deep into the wet sands. However, his hooves spread out a little more evenly than the finely pointed thoroughbred, for he was an arabian - and the arab had desert blood boiling in its veins. Though Soleil dind't prefer the sandy terrain over firm grasses, he was still designed for travel and easy footing over it. He sighed and lowered his head to the water, diping his muzzle in as he slowly approach the deeper edge of the water, the salty sea coming up to his shoulders before he stopped and sighed in contentment. The cool waves splashing and breaking gently against his chest as the longer tassles of his mane floated about him as he lowered his head in then out. The refreshing feeling of the cool relaxation of the water's kiss within the afternoon heat. The flies left him alone after this as well - they weren't water bugs. He'd be given a little releif from them for now.
And there he stood, shoulder deep in crystal blue waters... pondering a descision he was not sure he wanted to make. He wanted a forested land. He had a tropical realm, but he had no dry forest of mystery. He desired it... yet he didn't know which land to seek. Should he reach out towards Azur's or Aros, or should he even seek out either. Not as of now. He couldn't leave Apology alone. With a other herd mares there was a difference. There was strenght in numbers and power within loyalty. But one mare was more of a target and victim than threat, and Soleil wasn't going to risk her capture...
Seeing the stallion move off again she raised her dial and watched for a few moments, whipcord warding off nuisances before returning to her rear. Dial lowered again to the green stuffs before shaking, she didn't want it. Instead the femme rose her maw to the skies, watching quietly and taking in the scents, the lands did indeed become humid as the day progressed. This didn't bother Apology, like so many things in this world, she'd gotten used to it.
Finding standing in such an open space made her heat quicker she tossed her dial with a snort and headed back towards the waters which she'd formerly cast aside as 'boring', though she didn't particularly like to use the word. Crossing the lands quietly, titaniums placing lightly as grains of sand were felt beneath, she smiled at the sight of Soleil, he too had headed for the waters. Flicking her whipcord again as pests became more of a nuisance she shook her dial, a mere warning that if they continued to plague her so their pointless lives would come to an abrupt halt. Taking a few dainty steps towards the waters edge it soothed her to feel it deepening until the majority of her trunk was submerged. Apology had never much liked the water, to watch it yes, but to be in it she felt vulnerable. Sturdy as her frame was the clear liquids, innocent as they might appear, were capable of tricking, dragging you further in than you wished to go.
Sighing in contentment her gaze drifted out t'wards the way she'd come, tassels slowly absorbing the water. Apology's silver form appeared to glisten as diamonds might where droplets of water had settled upon her canvas, the odd few scars spoiling the overall effect with their cruel appearances, Apology had long since stopped herself from looking at them. Even though they were few and not too obvious against her canvas they resurfaced memories which she'd prefer buried, locked at the back of her mind. Dipping her maw into the water she held it their but a moment lifting it and exhaling sharply. Curvature pulled into a neat arch she took a few steps back, catching her flint on a rock and panicking for a moment before forcing herself to calm, turn around, and go back. She returned so that only her hocks and below were under the clear blue. Occuli flicking across the waters, it was hard with so many bad memories to keep them forever hidden, but, she'd managed for many years, and now with a lead over her she felt she would have no difficulty in calming herself if one should break loose of the barriers she struggled in maintaining, she had others.
Sighing again she lowered her dial some, allowing her mind to cease its wanderings for a moment and instead take in what surrounded it, the sounds mostly. Flutes flicking towards where she knew Soleil was, she found herself ever drawn to the stallion, perhaps because he was the one who had accepted her, perhaps not. She herself did not know, only that he meant her no harm, he was one to be respected and trusted.. With these thoughts in mind, different as they were from what she had wanted to think upon she raised her cranium and looked towards the stag himself, wet form drying as the sun beat down upon it.
Autumn leaves rustle softly beneath Ember's sharp daggers, the multicolored objects covering her black knives as she wandered through the thin forest. She was in no rush however, why be in one? To see a brute? Especially one that was probably more interested in his 'good mares' than he was anything else. Orbs rolled sarcastically as she thought of the sight. Sticks snapped loudly beneath the leaves as well, too hard to spot from the debris. Banner and mane stayed still, for unlike her 'claiming' spot where it was quite the opposite.. Hide still laied damp as before however, it would take quite a while to dry. Sleek bodice continued her slow pace, as orbs with took every sight. Not that there was really much to see. Further off, a deer bolted through the forest, as a lone dagger struck ahead of her. Naturally the doe was too far ahead of her for her to actually get a good strike, but it was merely a warning for the foolish petty creature. Sea water caught her paperthins suddenly as she reached the brink of the thin forest's layer. That was odd, sea water wasn't usually smelt after exitting a forest. Auds drifted backwards as bodice stepped into the bright sunlight, sleek chestnut bodice reflecting the sun's intensity. Orbs narrowed from the rays, as a soft hiss was heard from her maw. Stupid sun. As vision regathered, two frames were seen further ahead. One was the brute who had 'claimed' her and one was most likely another mare, and by the looks of it one very close to the stag. Orbs rolled irrativiley as daggers set foot on the soft sand. She stayed towards the edge of the forest, she had no appeal to go closer, nor talk to either of them. [/center]
