The Fae entered the land. Her optics scanned over the terrain as she went. She slowed her pace till she came to a stop. She emitted a tune to all then picked her way to the stream. She lowered her maw into the cool aqua and sipped it lightly. She picked up her dial again and watched a little more. She walked a few feet away from the stream and retreated to grazing. Her banner swayed lightly as her ivories picked at the emeralds that lay above the earth.

Soleil dissapated from the shade of a tall oak and moved forward, at first unawares of the mare's presence and currently uninterested. This land was seemingly full of them and it was currently driving hi insane. He was looking for mares to grow his herd, but for heaven's sake it was near impossible to find one alone without another trying to woe her into his clutches. It was with the change of the wind that the scent was made known to him, thus he moved quickly adn trotted slightly closer, a great change to his rather slow and purposeful walking appraoch. However, he was growing impatient with the day and it was noticable. As he neared her form he drew himself up slightly into a skidding stop and bobbed his head ot draw attention to himself, arching his neck impressively and acting all sorts of differently, surprised himself. But he didn't complain, the day was growing long and tedious and his patience was slowly dying with the sun.

Nichalasa caught scent of the approaching stallion. She lifted her dial slightly, optics scanning him as he moved closer. For a moment she could tell he was not interested, and really did not care. But as he moved closer she could tell he was coming to her. She nickered softly as she pulled her dial into an arch, then picking it up to full length. Her mocah optics searched him quietly as he came. Her auds were alert to him. She let another nicker, her tail swiped freely as a breeze past her.

Soleil, ceased his movement and watched her with black optics. His ears swivelling to and fro as he searched the air for the sound and scent of another. Wa sit by stroke of luck that he should come across her alone, with no other stag to try and lay claimance? Twas as such.
Soleil, move effortlessly to her shoulder, and attempted to brush her with his velvet muzzle... to signify and delcare his intentions.
|| Come, do you intend to wander forever; with nigh an alliance? || he declared, not intending to leave whether she be claimed or not. She was here alone, fair game and for the taking. Though he was a more generous stallion than most, he was not a social being to go against all stallion nature. He knew a heard had many, and it would take time to grow attached to each one. He cared for as of now to strengthen and grow a herd. He'd steal her from another if he must, for she was here alone...

She watched as he came up to her side. She slightly moved as he touched her.
{As of right now, yes I am alone. It has not been my choice to be alone, but it is what has happened.}
She nodded her dial to him and stood quietly. She shifted her weight to her left hind-leg. Her optics downcasted to the the earth then went back, orbs searching into his.

Soleil kept after her and circled her suddenly, watching her back legs for movement, until he was again at her shoulder, and attempted to brush it yet a second time. His motions almost herding; his body brushing hers on occasion to encourage movement. As he'd thought before, he'd need time to grow attached and emotional to each one fot he mare's he claimed. Thus for now, he had a short line of patience. With the ending of the day, his nerves and patience were burning low.
|| Come then, there be no need for you to stand here alone nay longer ||
He declared one last final time. As he nipped her shoulder gently. ooc: sry, no apparant muse as of now.

Nichalasa took one step to where he was nudging her to. She searched him over again, making sure he wouldn't be lame or abandoned her. {Then I shall give it a try.} She began picking her way lightly as she walked.

He moved upwards against her side and passed so that he was slightly ahead of her, steering her when she wandered off his chosen direction. However, he was eager to return home before sunset and moved into a more speeded gate. A swift yet fluid trot that carried him swiftly ahead of her and in the direction he had chosen. Dull russets had begun to spread out upon the far horizon and this did nothing but urge him forward, possibly slightly faster. The night owl's call echoing fromt eh dark recess of the forest wood. It was not that the shadows intimidated Soleil. It was the beings within the shadows, of unfamiliar terra that sent his nerves somewhat into a shimmy.

She followed swiftly. Her strides were long and slow. When he sped up she easily caught up with him. She looked around as she passed by. She watched the woods as they skimmed past them. Her optics reflected the late sun that was descending behind the forests. She turned to look after Soleil, she watched him as she followed silently.
